Summary

As a Business Development Assistant, you will collaborate with our team in all stages of sales and marketing campaigns. Your contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

This position will help you acquire sales and marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in sales and marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Review market analysis and research on competition
  • Follow up on marketing and enrollment opportunities
  • Assist with inquiries, tours, call backs and enrollments
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
  • Prepare in person promotional presentations with organizations, churches, local employers and potential parents in market area.
  • Help distribute marketing materials
  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Help organize marketing events

Qualifications

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, residents, and families.

Education and Experience

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
